Chakra is derived from Sanskrit meaning “Wheel”, found in the energy channel known as “Susuma”, which runs alongside our spinal column . When energy is raised one can operate on a higher vibration, when the energy centres (Chakras) of the body are attuned to this frequency the healing process begins. Each Chakra governs a specific region of the body, when you understand that these active gateways hold the key to our energy and health, we are able to see a shift occur.

What is an Aura and how does this relate to the Chakras? Some yogi refer to the Aura as the 8th Chakra, the energy field that encircles our body. To clearly understand one needs only look at the human body as systems of energy, within this system you have the “wheels” that make it run and an outer layer which protects and reflects that very system. When we have a blockage, an imbalance in this network of energy an individuals vital life force will weaken, meaning the Auric field has lowered to a vibration whereby leaving your body open to dis-ease.

A Chakra Balancing session was included to aid in the repair and alleviation of any blockages you may have in your system. Do you feel out of sorts? Drained? Low of energy? Understand the Chakras

Root Chakra

This is our closest link to earth, our base, represented as the physical world. While working alongside with the sacral, the root chakra is the humanity and the sense of survival in us.


Sacral Chakra

This is the centre of sexual energy and desire, located below the navel. It represents the ego and the way we see ourselves form another persons perspective, self esteem, self worth.


Solar Plexus

This is the main physical centre of the body. It is where everything comes in, gets interpreted, were we deal with our day-to-day situations. Known as the power centre, located close to the stomach.


Heart Chakra

This is the core, the centre to the energy system, a representation of our divinity. The heart chakra is the compassion and the sense of unconditional love we all have in us.


Throat Chakra

This is the inner voice, our self expression. It is where we first experience our connection to spirit, the inner union with all life. The throat chakra can be best described as speaking your truth.


Third Eye

This is the Eye of Horus, the inner knowing, located above the brow in the centre of the forehead. It represents the our inner vision, this point is the centre of you psychic potential.


Crown Chakra

This is the origin, the source where energy comes in and is channeled through. Located above the skull, represented as a thousand petalled lotus flower. A sense of Knowing best describes this centre.
