How does Reiki work?
Reiki is a Japanese word meaning universal life force energy, when broken down, you have Rei and Ki. “Rei” - universal, transcendental spirit, essence, and “Ki” - vital life force energy, described as chi, prana, or the “light” in Christianity. Being a universal force from great spirit, Reiki belongs to all whom seek and desire to learn, it knows no creed or doctrine, Reiki is not a religion.
Reiki accelerates the body’s ability to heal physical and mental ailments and assists you to correct imbalances of mind and spirit which lead to dis-ease. In allowing yourself to connect with the source, Reiki opens one to the pleasure of taking responsibility for your own life. As the soul dictates where the energy goes, it is my responsibility to channel and surrender, trusting in Reiki, raising your vibration to a higher level.

What makes Reiki and Seichim unique?
The difference you see from other healing methods is the attunement process. Those that have been brought through the process of attunement have experienced a very ancient process of fine tuning the physical and spiritual bodies to a higher vibratory level. In stimulating the Chakras to open fully, the person is able to channel higher amounts of this universal energy. Using these types of energies have been know to complement, amplify other techniques.
Treatment is given by the practitioner by placing their hands in a number of easily learnt positions on the recipients clothed body and allowing free flow of the energy to pass. Can I send these energies to a loved one? Both energies allow the practitioner to send healing to any place across distance and time. This is known as “absent/distant” healing. You now can see that healing can be performed whether or not the individual receiving this energy is actually present., what a wonder gift to receive and what an interesting sight to see unfold.
